In 2014, Jenny took a leap of faith and left her job as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank to enter the start-up world, becoming one of Hong Kong’s most high-profile females in fintech in the process. As head of growth at WeLab, an up and-coming start-up that’s disrupting traditional banking, she has so far been deployed for tasks such as securing US$160 million from ING and government investors, in addition to US$14 million from Li Ka-shing himself. No big deal, then. A beacon of success in a male-dominated start-up world, Jenny likes to encourage other intelligent and ambitious women to take the leap. All power to her!
