Kevin Poon

Kevin doesn’t sit still. The consummate multipreneur’s various interests place him at the heart of a scene in Hong Kong that’s all about new concepts, quick developments and breaking boundaries. As the co-founder of fashion brand Clot in 2003, he introduced many a man to the benefits of streetwear; his retail concept Juice, with its multiple boutiques across Asia, made it easier to buy; and his distribution business District provided retailers with the accessories and brands to match. Next up was a focus on PR and marketing, with the founding of his agency Social Capital along with business partner Fed Tan, before concept store Woaw soon followed on Gough Street. Should you wish to ponder the energy involved in pulling all that off, you could do so over an artisanal coffee and a home-baked cookie at his fast-growing (four locations and counting), hipper-than-thou coffee hotspot Elephant Grounds.

Secret to Success: Distributing a slice of cool to the region—product by product, brand by brand.
