If Hong Kong is starting to catch up with other metropolises in terms of music festivals and envy-inducing line-ups, it’s mostly thanks to Justin. The Hong Kong born-and-raised entrepreneur is the co-founder of the Clockenflap music and arts festival. Clockenflap has come far from humble beginnings in 2008, turning into the city’s biggest (and some might say best) festival.
But Justin didn’t start there: he’s championed Hong Kong’s indie scene for years, promoting gigs and shows with an awe-inspiring dedication. And as music director of Magnetic Asia, he’s also responsible for bringing some of the world’s hottest acts to town—in the past few years that’s included Death Cab for Cutie, Rhye, Belle and Sebastien, Morrissey and M83. Turn up the volume, Justin.
