Nana Chan
In a world where coffee culture seems to reign supreme, Nana is on a mission to make tea hot again—one cup at a time. Recognising the disconnect between traditional tea shops and afternoon high tea at hotels, she opened contemporary tea house Teakha in 2011 in a quiet corner of Sheung Wan on Tai Ping Shan Street—long before it became the trendy area it is today.
The young entrepreneur strives to foster a sense of community through her work, supporting emerging local talent and looking for new ways to bring people together. Earlier this year Nana launched Plantation, a collection of 14 craft teas sourced from small plantations around the world.
