Nick Buckley Wood
Nick knows how to stand out from the crowd—quite literally. At more than six feet tall, the art aficionado resembles a young John Lennon—albeit with a sense of style more similar to Mad Men's Don Draper. After four years as gallery director at Pearl Lam Galleries, last year Nick was appointed the Asia director of Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac.
He now represents 60 artists (and counting) across five art spaces in Salzburg, Paris and London. The gallery doesn’t have a physical presence in Hong Kong yet, but one can imagine that Nick’s appointment is a sign of Ropac’s plans to expand to this side of the world.
