The 33-year-old is the founder of GreaterBay Ventures and Advisors, an investment firm focused on urbanisation with a positive impact in the region that's now known as the "Greater Bay Area", the Chinese government’s initiative to link Hong Kong, Macau and nine cities in Guangdong province into an integrated economic hub.
Previously, Verb was managing partner of Metta, a members-only multi-channel platform and club for entrepreneurs. Prior to that, the Hungarian native spent the past 10 years working on projects ranging from tech to culture, entertainment and the social sphere—including Hong Kong’s home-grown Ticketflap platform and Clockenflap festival. That’s all impressive; but on top of that, Tony heads up a host of philanthropic projects and recently produced a documentary about domestic helpers in Hong Kong, called The Helper.
