On-demand car-sharing app Cove is essentially Uber for people who want to drive themselves, allowing users to choose from a range of vehicles located in a nearby car park. With keyless access, customers can unlock their rental ride at the touch of
a button, while making reservations and payment via the app. When developing Cove—which raised pre-seed funding from Inmotion Ventures, the investment arm of Jaguar Land Rover UK—Lawrence Hui discovered a gap in the market that led to the development of Moveco, a complementary mobility ecosystem that connects drivers and industry stakeholders through blockchain technology. Consumers sign up, share their mobility data with the app and earn rewards for every mile they drive. Put another way, Lawrence is transforming the future of transportation, one ride at a time.
