Philippa Wong, along with her sister Andrea, is blazing a new path in Hong Kong’s music education scene. The daughters of solicitor Kennedy Wong are both talented musicians— Philippa is a music graduate from King’s College London—so opening a music training centre seemed like the natural next step. M.int, however, is no ordinary music academy. The centre offers a fresh new approach to music learning, while its instructors are recruited exclusively from top international music conservatories around the world. Philippa herself plays five instruments—piano, violin, viola, oboe and saxophone—and also sings. Her talents don’t stop there—she’s the creative force behind the tasteful interior design at the 6,000sqft M.int Academy in Wong Chuk Hang, too.
