Japanese philosophy, a trillion-dollar note and a pair of powerlifting shoes—here's what Mindworks Ventures founder David Chang carries with him
Hong Kong-based Mindworks invests in early- and expansion-stage tech startups across Greater China and Southeast Asia, managing more than US$260 million in assets across three funds.

Chang sits on the board of 13 of Mindworks' portfolio companies—including logistics startup Lalamove, e-commerce platform Grana and digital trading marketplace Qupital—and is constantly travelling around Asia to meet clients and identify the firm's next investments.
