Since the 1950s, Lladró has cemented its status as an iconic Spanish brand renowned for its exquisite porcelain art creations. From unexpected decorative sculptures to stylish lighting accessories, the Valencia-based brand has curated contemporary designs that embody a unique blend of talent, audacity, and meticulousness.

This commitment to innovation extends beyond their internal efforts, collaborating with esteemed designers such as Marcel Wanders, Nichetto Studio, and Naoto Fukasawa.

Lladró’s The Guest collection is where collaborators are encouraged to push the boundaries of their creativity. The latest collaboration features the multidisciplinary designer Camille Walala, whose vibrant, contrasting colours and intricate patterns infuse new life into the brand's porcelain sculptures.

Based on her Putting Things in Perspective art series, Walala embraced “slightly imperfect” abstract forms, circles and hand-drawn soft lines with a play on planes and perspectives on the Raul Rubio-sculptured figurines. The 2D trompe l’oeils with a striking 3D optical illusion evoked a sense of dynamic visual energy reminiscent of her pop art aesthetic.

Italian glassmaking is a centuries-old artisan tradition that, while slowly fading over time, finds renewed vitality through Mondoluce. This Australian lighting company preserves the highly technical glass-blowing process, ensuring its continuation for millennia to come.

Mondoluce specialises in Italian-made lights, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of master artisans like Vistosi. Founded by Guglielmo Vistosi in 1945, a descendant of a long line of glassmakers, the brand embodies the Venetian artistic glass techniques passed down through generations.

These artisanal techniques shine through in Vistosi’s pendant lights and chandeliers, epitomising the timeless elegance of Art Deco design. Crafted from mouth-blown glass rings in white or crystal finishes, these fixtures exude sophistication and charm. Whether adorning period homes or contemporary builds, they elevate any space with a luxurious ambience, complementing opulent materials like velvet and marble.
