2. EXO PLANET #5: Exploration Tour

3. Indie Focus 2019: Hong Kong Independent Film Festival

Where: Louis Koo Cinema, Hong Kong Arts Centre and Hong Kong Film Archive Cinema

What: Hong Kong Independent Film Festival introduces an Indie Focus programme to shed light on some independent francophone films from Quebec, bringing a comprehensive view of Quebecois independent cinema to Hong Kong audiences for the first time. The programme features eleven classic Quebecois films and screenings.

4. Hong Kong Dance Company: "Dance of Strings"

Where: Studio Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui

What: In this beautiful performance piece, Yang Yuntao, Artistic Director of Hong Kong Dance Company, works closely with world-renowned violinist, Yao Jue, celebrated Chinese composer, Lam Fung, to examine Chinese folk music with a Hong Kong perspective.

5. Peter Pan

Where: Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Sha Tin Town Hall

What: The Asian premiere of Hong Kong Ballet artistic director Septime Webre’s adaptation of the classical fairy tale delivers breathtaking ballet and a sweeping score accompanied by extravagant costumes and sets.

6. Trevor Noah: Loud And Clear

8. Hong Kong International Reggae Ska Festival

What: Jamaican legends Keith & Tex lead a line-up of groups hailing from Taiwan, the UK and Japan performing at Asia’s biggest event for reggae, ska and Jamaican music culture.

9. Cine Fan Summer International Film Festival

When: From now till August 27

Where: Various locations

What: Launched in 2006, the annual Summer International Film Festival (SummerIFF) premieres new films, speficially appealing to a younger audience. The screenings of around 30 titles range from pop Asian to restored classics and award-winning titles fresh from world-class film festivals.

10. Denis Kozhukhin Plays Rachmaninov
