We celebrated our inaugural Scions issue with an epic party onboard Crystal Symphony, one of the most luxurious cruises in the world. If you didn't make it, here's what you need to know:

1/10Crystal Symphony

Docked at Ocean Terminal with Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline as its backdrop, the Hong Kong Tatler Scions party took place on Crystal Symphony, one of the most luxurious cruise ships in the world. Owned by Crystal Cruises—a Genting Group subsidiary—the top deck was converted into a club at sea exclusively for our guests.

2/10Nautical glam

Over 150 of Hong Kong's movers and shakers showed up in nautical-inspired outfits as per our Nautical Glam dress code, including double-breasted white and navy blazers, sailor caps to classic nautical stripes.

DJ Che Molly from Zouk at Sea kept the party pumping as the guests danced the night away with free-flowing nautical-inspired canapes and cocktails curated by Crystal Symphony’s culinary team.

4/10Cover star, Loui Lim

Our May 2019 cover star Loui Lim, executive vice-president of Genting Cruise Lines and vice-president of leisure and hospitality for Genting Malaysia’s land-based resorts, entered the party in a white blazer and charmed his way through the crowd aboard one of his family business’ most luxurious cruises.

5/10Interactive photo booth

Matching the nautical theme, our interactive photo booth brought summer on board with beach loungers and marine-themed props by Breguet, where guests struck a pose in front of ocean hues illuminated by the LED display.

In addition to our photo booth, guests including Elly Lam took the opportunity to capture some fun Boomerangs with the Hong Kong skyline as their backdrop.

7/10Welcome remarks

At 8pm, Hong Kong Tatler's Director of VIP Content and Communications, Christian Barlow, and General Manager, Oceana Ou, welcomed guests and thanked the sponsors of our inaugural Scions issue and party. 

8/10Giuseppe Zanotti & Breguet

 

Scions including Loui Lim, Eleanor Lam, Feiping ChangRené Chu and Antonia Li showed up at the exclusive soiree in stylish outfits featuring timepieces by Breguet and shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti.

9/10After-party at Épure

From 9pm onwards, the party continued at Epure where guests enjoyed canapés by DALLOYAU and a DJ set by Che'Molly.

10/10The goodie bag

On their way out, each guest was given a goodie bag filled with gifts from our sponsors, including our May 2019 scions issue and a whisky flask from Crystal Cruises.
