The Alpine Estate, Verbier

Fancy rallying the troops for a big old alpine bash? Look no further than this Swiss mega chalet. Opened in 2015, it sleeps 20 people in 10 beautiful en-suite bedrooms across two adjoining chalets (with a third eight-person chalet for more friends). There’s an immaculate spa, two swimming pools, waterfalls, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, two wine caves, a cinema—and a veritable army of staff. The views from up on the hill aren’t too shabby either—and all this just a five-minute drive from the fun of Verbier village? I’d call that party time. From HK$735,000 per week for seven people (food and drink extra).

CZP Wellness Day 1.jpg

Chalet Zermatt Peak, Zermatt

Accessed via a tunnel through rock, this Bond-style hideaway—winner of Best Ski Chalet in Switzerland at the World Ski Awards in 2013 and 2015—sleeps 10 in five fabulous en-suite bedrooms. Interiors are sumptuously appointed with walnut floors, Murano crystal chandeliers, daily fresh flowers, high-end technology and a Jacuzzi in the master bedroom. The stylish wellness floor—to which a brand new beauty room was recently added—is the perfect place to unwind after a long day on the slopes. It is, however, the 180° views over Zermatt and to the Matterhorn from the vast open-plan living and dining room, the wellness area, and the gallery bedroom (which has a glass roof for amazing stargazing at night) that really set this chalet apart. Don’t fancy skiing or pottering the car-free cobbled streets of the picturesque town below? With views this good, there’s really no need to leave the chalet. From HK$468,000 per week inclusive.

Chalet N, Lech

Sleeping 24 guests with 26 staff on hand—most notably the award-winning Marent brothers in the kitchen—Chalet N sits in Austria’s Arlberg region, the birthplace of modern skiing, and comes with complimentary heli transfers from the airport. There’s a home cinema, wine cellar, bulletproof windows and rainforest showers surrounded by Swarovski crystal curtains. The star feature, though, is the spa, which takes up an entire floor of the chalet and comprises a stunning indoor pool area and outdoor hot tub, a Finnish sauna and a salt-cave steam bath. Enjoy a beauty treatment, work out in the gym (hmmm) or simply sleep off that schnitzel in one of the spa’s quiet rooms. From HK$2.5 million per week.

Bighorn, Revelstoke

Like your skiing light on piste and big on powder? Then Revelstoke in British Columbia, the birthplace of heli-skiing, could be the spot for you, with its massive annual fall of light, dry powder and incredible variety of terrain. And Bighorn has its own private helipad, bringing all the adventure right to your chalet door. The massive 15,000sqft property has eight en-suite bedrooms with balconies, an indoor cinema, a cocktail bar, a fully kitted out entertainment room, a gym, two massage rooms, an indoor plunge pool, a sauna and an outdoor hot tub. From HK$442,000 for up to 16 people for a week (helicopter rides extra).
