First Look: Asia Society's New Exhibition Is Inspired By Hong Kong's Natural Wonders
Highlights include Sally Bunker's botanical paintings of Hong Kong's indigenous trees, which have fascinated her since she first moved to the city in 1979; South Ho's striking black-and-white photographs of trees that were felled during last year's devastating Typhoon Mangkhut; and American artist James Prosek's 16-metre-long mural that stars some of the fascinating animals that call Hong Kong home, including barking deer, wild boar and leopard cats. Open the gallery above for a first look at some of the works in this exhibition.
To See the Forest and the Trees is open until September 8 at Asia Society Hong Kong Center, 9 Justice Drive, Admiralty. asiasociety.org
