The online platform will include virtual sales, in-depth articles, and educational videos

Many brands and institutions around the world have been innovating and adapting to the ‘new normal’ as we continue to navigate COVID-19 and luxury yacht manufacturer Azimut Yachts comes as no exception.

The Italian yacht builder has recently announced its plan to create a meaningful digital platform to bring the yachting community together by way of the e-Boat Show series and the Azimut Yacht Virtual Lounge.

According to Robb Report, the e-Boat show will include product exhibitions and live chat sessions with yachting experts and sales managers with the goal being “the same level of engagement that you might normally experience face to face.”

Federico Lantero, Azimut’s brand manager added that keeping “talk alive within our community during this period of social distancing allows us to spend time to share the yachting lifestyle.”

The inaugural e-Boat Show is set to run from May 27 through to May 30 and will provide resources for yacht owners and prospective buyers to attend an online only event that will attempt to replicate the well-known features of an in-person boat show.

Azimut Yachts has also conceptualised the Azimut Virtual Lounge, an innovative digital space where boating enthusiasts will have access to the world of Azimut Yachts through aspirational and informative articles, virtual tours, technical information, and video content. Members will also have access to exclusive live events and private chat options.

At the end of the day, the internationally-renowned yacht builder aims to connect the global yachting community the best way it can while strengthening its bond with its clients and yacht enthusiasts worldwide.

“One of the benefits of living through this period is that everyone is coming up with new ideas,” Lantero said. “We found a good liaison with some of our dealers who helped us find ways to create fresh content in a much shorter time.”
