The shipping magnate is parting with his prized vessel
In 2012, when shipping magnate Anto Marden unveiled his 40 metre superyacht, Adastra, it became the first luxury power trimaran of its size in the world.
Now, the billionaire and Tatler Lister is ready to part with his prized vessel, and has recently put it on the market.
"After seven years, we've pretty much cruised to all the places we want to cruise," Anto told Robb Report. "Now she's just not getting enough use. We have another yacht at home, so it's time to sell."

The website that’s selling the Adastra describes it as the “coolest adventure yacht” which, at the very least, is an understatement. The vessel took five years to build, and Anto tapped yacht designer John Shuttleworth to create a vessel that’s as powerful as it is aesthetically gorgeous.
Adastra can travel 4,000 miles at 17 knots, which means it can travel the Atlantic Ocean non-stop.
“I’ve always wanted to build a big boat to travel around the world in,” Anto told Tatler Asia in 2012. “I knew I wanted a power boat because time is short and distances are long, and I’m old. A power trimaran is very easily driven and it’s very economical on fuel. It also looks amazing.”
