We go behind-the-scenes with Hong Kong Tatler to meet socialite Sally Thompson as she promotes her selected charity, Changing Young Lives Foundation, for October’s charity-themed issue

The Changing Young Lives Foundation strives to tackle some inherent problems in Hong Kong society, beginning with our youth. To many, Hong Kong is known for its high-rises, glitz and glamour, but the truth of the matter is that, we also have a group of people who live in poverty.

Socialite Sally Thompson recognises this and has chosen to channel her efforts to help the poor in Hong Kong, beginning with the youth. Thompson assists Marcia Aw, chief executive of Changing Young Lives Foundation, whose vision is of a world where children of all ages are protected from abuse, neglect and exploitation and kept safe at all times, where they have shelter, food, health care and education.

In the October issue of Hong Kong Tatler, the feature The New Avengers highlights the charitable works from our friends in Hong Kong and hope by highlighting each cause, it will raise awareness and encourage our readers to join their plight. We bring you the behind-the-scenes video of the shoot with Sally Thompson for Changing Young Lives Foundation.
