In collaboration with Art Lexïng, Louboutin looks to show two up-and-coming Chinese artists at their boutique in Hong Kong later this month

Following a successful and highly publicised partnership at Art Basel Miami Beach last December, Christian Louboutin and Art Lexïng continue to collaborate with an exhibition in Hong Kong later this month. Featuring top artists Ye Hongxing and Qin Weihong, the exhibition will feature artworks that represent a crossover of East and West.

Creating jewel-like mosaics inspired by mainstream media using stickers on canvas, Ye Hongxing has a unique and peculiar style not to be missed. While Qin Weihong, whose previous sculptural exhibition met critical and commercial success, continues to explore and experiment with Western pop art and degrees of Eastern traditions of illustration and film animation.

The exhibit will be on display in a pop-up gallery on On Lan Street, as well as in the Christian Louboutin boutique just around the corner. With the temptation of absorbing a little bit of art and culture whilst perusing oodles of glamorous shoes, we don’t know how we can resist.
