Hong Kong’s celebrated outdoor music and art festival is set to make waves this November with big names such as Damien Rice and The Libertines

Known for its eclectic range of music, art and culinary experiences, the eighth edition of Clockenflap will return to the West Kowloon Cultural District from November 27 to 29.

With the first phase teaser line-up unveiled, the three-day festival will feature famed artists such as edgy British rockers The Libertines and Irish singer-songwriter Damien Rice.

Fans of Asian music can indulge in the tunes of Taiwanese indie singer-songwriter Crowd Lu, and welcome the return of Japanese retro-rock act Love Psychedelico and Hong Kong hardcore band King Ly Chee.

With more than 60,000 music lovers expected to join the event this year, the festival will offer a myriad of music genres performed by over 150 local and international acts.

Themed as ‘The Cosmic and the Communal’, the event offers a spectacular visual and performing arts programme, ranging from the Cinema Silenzio film and animation tent to Club Minky and its comical circus shows.
