When the Apple tablet was debuted to the world in a conference by the currently on sick leave Steve Jobs, he got the world listening to his revolutionary product. Some skeptics brushed it off as superfluous, others laughed at its ‘neither a Macbook Pro nor an iPhone' misplaced identity, but as the figures show - leaving Jobs the last one laughing - the iPad is the future, and tablet computers are all the rage.

Following the iPad's popularity, fashion houses such as Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, to name just a few, are now on the case, literally. For the past year, they have been busily persuading users to steer away from the original rubber protective casing and seek a fashion accessory in their new gadget.
