With Exclusive Venue, luxury brands and corporate clients can add dazzle to their events by hosting them at Diamond in the Sky, one of Hong Kong’s most exclusive addresses

Hong Kong has hundreds of places for VIP events, gala dinners and corporate brand parties, but there are some under-the-radar spots for organisers looking for something unique, venues designed and built with an eye for the unusual.

Exclusive Venue, a sister company of the global Rouge agency, is the only company in Hong Kong and Shanghai that selects and connects unique and atypical venues with luxury brands and corporate clients. Each of its venues tells a story through unique architecture and ambiance—from classical and colonial to modern and avant-garde. Once customised according to the client’s requirements, the venues deliver picture-perfect events.

Exclusive Venue was founded in Hong Kong in 2016 by French entrepreneur Saoud Maherzi, formerly the managing partner of renowned Parisian restaurant Darling’s and the founder of French events agency Caprice Groupe. Maherzi opened its Shanghai branch in 2018 and is planning to expand regionally.

“Premium location, easy accessibility, the exclusivity of the property, unique architecture and design, and the personality of the owners are some of the key elements that we have in mind when choosing venues to include in our portfolio,” says Maherzi.

Take, for example, Diamond in the Sky, a prestigious villa at The Peak. This fully renovated house is 13,500 square feet and features unparalleled privacy and priceless views of Victoria Harbour. “Diamond in the Sky offers a breathtaking view of Hong Kong and comes with an incredible amount of space that is divided between five levels, with two rooftops,” says Emilie El Jaouhari, chief operating officer.

All five levels are connected by a lift. The villa also has a swimming pool, ample outdoor space and parking for multiple cars. The venue, once owned by Hong Kong actor-director Stephen Chow, was refurbished under its current owner and can accommodate up to 300 guests for a cocktail party and 60 for a seated dinner. The owner is also planning to sell the property, so Diamond in the Sky is available for events for a limited time only.

“In addition, with every venue in our portfolio of properties, clients can choose from a range of complementary add-on services, such as catering, security, waitstaff and private drivers,” says Maherzi. Clearly not a traditional venue provider, Exclusive Venue has a proven track record in transforming events into unforgettable experiences.
