Four Seasons Hong Kong has announced a range of exciting enhancement plans for 2021––including transformed guest rooms, two new outlets and more––and we’re giving you a first look

Known as one of the top destinations in the city for a luxurious stay, whether you’re coming from out of town or looking for an unforgettable staycation, Four Seasons Hong Kong has a lot on offer; from its sweeping views of the Victoria Harbour, expansive pool and eight––yes, eight––Michelin-starred establishments. Not one to rest on its laurels, the hotel has this week announced an array of enhancement plans to take it to the next level of luxury hospitality. Rolling out beginning spring 2021, guests can expect redesigned rooms and suites, a transformed arrival experience at the lobby, a new cocktail bar and a new lobby café.

As part of the enhancement, the hotel promises to “completely reimagine its guest rooms”. Phased throughout 2021, the transformation is set to showcase a unique modern design, featuring carefully crafted traditional detailing under the sophisticated direction of renowned Remedios Studio. Known to be a tranquil retreat in the centre of the city, the transformed rooms aim to retain this calmness while embracing high-end technology.

Adding to the hotel’s eight dining establishments, the transformation is also set to include a brand-new cocktail bar and lobby café. Envisioned by AB Concept, the new neo-classical designed bar is set to become a top destination for cocktail and spirit aficionados in the city. Replacing the Blue Bar on the ground floor, Beverage Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Hong Lorenzo Antinori aims to challenge the status quo by introducing innovative programming, collaborations and cocktails inspired from exciting new sources and spirits.

Adjacent to the revamped Blue Bar will be the new lobby café. Promising to be a casual meeting area, the venue will lend itself to relaxed dining by day, as well as being a destination for evening dining and drinking.

Speaking of the hotel’s new look, Bill Taylor, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong states “We are excited to soon unveil a new stay experience that will reinforce the Hotel’s position since its debut in Hong Kong in 2005. We are creating a destination where guests can revel in the rich blend of cultures and tastes that Hong Kong represents, and further maintain our position as the mecca of fine dining with 8 Michelin stars under one roof, and the pulse of Hong Kong with a new bar and new café concept”.

Unlike many hotels undergoing ambitious renovations, Four Seasons Hong Kong will remain open throughout its transformation, with guests able to enjoy all restaurants and facilities such as the pool and events venues as usual.
