The contemporary art initiative celebrates 20 years in Hong Kong with a fundraising gala and art auction

Contemporary art with a conscience: the Para Site annual fundraiser and auction has returned. The independent art institution is one of Hong Kong’s leaders in contemporary art, celebrating its 20th year in the city’s flourishing art scene. The invite-only annual fundraiser and charity auction dinner on November 1 2016, will be hosted by Yana and Stephen Peel, in association with Lead Corporate Sponsors Phillips Auctioneers and TheOutnet.com. The online auction begins on October 18 and concludes November 1, powered by Online Auction Partner, Givergy. During this time, members of the public can bid on the stunning contemporary pieces. In attendance at the gala are the K11 Art Foundation, Mimi Brown and Alp Ercil, Kevin and Reina Chau, Lisina and Nick Leung, Evan Chow, and Sarina Tang, among other notable members of the art community.

Highlights from the collection include Dan Attoe’s Partiers at Waterfall (2015) and Philippe Parreno Chickenman (2005), which uses green phosphorescent ink. An exclusive preview of some of the unique pieces can be viewed below.
