New looks, new design

The CLS is a completely new car and is recognisable by the diamond grille with a single louvre, its clear contours and reduced lines resembling the sportiness of the Mercedes-Benz coupes.

The new LED headlamps are flat and wide with inward-slanting flanks.

Luxurious interior

Similar to the E-Class sibling and the larger S-Class, the interiors come with high-resolution widescreen cockpit with two 12.3-inch displays.

The design of the air vents is reminiscent of jet aircraft turbines.

The ambient lighting includes these air vents that briefly change colour to show if the temperature is being made warmer or cooler.

The seats were designed exclusively for this model series.

 Power and performance

The engines are completely new with in-line six-cylinder petrol units.

The new, systematically electrified in-line six-cylinder with EQ Boost (integrated starter/generator) and a 48 volt onboard electrical system pushes out 367 hp of power and 500 Nm of torque plus a further 22hp and 250 Nm via EQ Boost (integrated electric motor) over short periods.

This new system delivers the performance of an eight-cylinder engine with significantly lower fuel consumption.
