The Insta-famous Hong Kong yogi talks about his yoga journey and fitspirations
Victor Chau is no stranger to Hong Kong's yoga community. Known for his spectacular yoga selfies (learn exactly how he takes his photos here) and hands-on approach to yoga teaching, Victor is often on the road, traveling all over Asia to teach others how to stretch, meditate and unwind.
In our latest edition of In The Gym With, we asked Victor about his yoga journey, cheat day treats and who he looks up to as fitspiration.
When did you first start working out?
I have been doing yoga for more than 15 years now, but I only seriously incorporated it as a workout to my routine about four years ago.
Describe a typical week of workouts for you.
I usually do six days of yoga practice, one FleXTreme session at Flex Studio, one or two spin classes at XYZ and another session at F45 Quarry Bay.
