Falling on March 8 every year, International Women’s Day (IWD) is a day to honour the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The occasion also marks a call to action for promoting gender parity and women’s empowerment.

This year’s theme #EachforEqual is about building a gender-balanced world. With IWD fast approaching, we’ve rounded up five of the most exciting Hong Kong events for you to celebrate the occasion with your girlfriends

All drink sales will be donated to Teen’s Key, a non-profit organisation that helps abused women, sex workers and teenage girls through education and support initiatives.
