Known for their scenic white sand beaches and turquoise waters, the Miyako islands make incredibly gorgeous scuba diving destinations, where unique underwater rock formations, colossal Ryūkyū limestone arches, underwater caves and vibrant marine life are highly visible.

Just 250 miles east of Taipei, the entry point of the islands is located in the city of Miyakojima, where Miyako airport has direct flights connecting to Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
