The artist and luxury champagne producer unveil their limited edition collaboration
The collaboration between Jeff Koons and Dom Pérignon was announced this week and has been aptly titled Balloon Venus for Dom Pérignon.
The limited edition design by Koons is a reinvented version of Koons’ original Balloon Venus sculpture. In this case, this version is much smaller than the original and is actually the casing for a bottle of Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2003. The retail price for the limited edition piece is US$20,000 and will be available in September.
The collaboration is set to continue with more limited edition sets including bottles of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2004 and Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2003 signed by Koons himself.
