K11 Musea Brings Lake Como To Hong Kong—With A Preview Of World's Rarest Cars And Exclusive Campari Pop-Up Bar
While international travel is still off the cards, you can indulge in an Italian lakeside summer filled art, culture and food at K11 Musea instead. The cultural-retail destination transforms itself into a villa on the edge of the waterfront, donned in picturesque elegance that draws inspiration from the magnificent villas speckled along the shores of Italy's summer getaway, Lake Como.
Called Villa Musea, the latest attraction at K11 Musea takes inspiration from Lake Como's historical seat of trade that gathers the best of art, culture, design and architecture. From July 9 to August 8, Villa Musea will also pay homage to one of the most well-known classic car shows in the world, which is set in Lake Como since 1929 through the Musea Classic. In collaboration with the Classic Car Club of Hong Kong, the preview features a collection of over 20 of the world's most beautiful and rare collectable cars in two phases, many of which are shown in Hong Kong for the first time.
Numerous supercars from various brands such as Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, BMW, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Rolls Royce and Moran is on display. Some of the models include a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, where only 165 units were ever created. You also can't miss the city's first showcase of the 2020 Ferrari Monza SP2, the one and only in Hong Kong and together with the 2020 Ferrari Monza SP1, less than 500 units in total were created—making them one of the most exclusive and expensive Ferraris of all time.
Guests can also feast their eyes on the heritage and history of some of the best automobiles of the world including the beautifully restored 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II—the oldest model showcased, the 1970 Porsche 911S which belongs to the Macau Grand Prix winner Teddy Yip, the 1971 Ferrari 246 GT Dino which is dubbed as the most beautiful car in the world and the 1974 Mercedes 600 which at the time of its launch was the most expensive car in the world.
Alongside the classic car previews, Villa Musea is also hosting Hong Kong's first Campari pop-up bar, presented by Artisan Lounge in partnership with Campari. Campari is a contemporary and classic Italian liqueur, with more than 150 years of rich history. You will get to learn about the art of aperitivo, a refreshing drink that's been part of Italy's exhilarating and bountiful culinary culture.
The pop-up bar's decor is also inspired by the original Campari bar in Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Guests can enjoy a selection of eight refreshing cocktails including three that are exclusively created such as Sonata Rosa, a sensual balance of sweetness and bitter punch featuring Campari, rose gin and syrup with grapefruit juice; and Aria Opera, which includes Campari fused with chamomile gin, parfait amour and dashes of refreshing limoncello, lemon juice and soda. Artisan Lounge is also offering a time-limited Summer Festa a la carte menu curated by award-winning Italian chef, Alessandro Angelini and chef Luca De Beradinis.
The Musea Classic preview of 20 rare cars runs from July 9 to 8 August while the Campari pop-up bar is available until 12 September, only at K11 Musea.
