The luxury fashion house unveiled 10 new city guides and two fashion-focused destination books

Louis Vuitton prides itself on being more than a luxury fashion and accessories brand. The French fashion house seeks to elevate its customers lives by way of experience and other lifestyle offerings through the likes of charitable candles, museum exhibitions, and a selection of luxury travel guides. Vuitton has just unveiled its latest round of travel destination guides under its City Guides and Fashion Eye series, which will reflect this year’s updates to the metropolis guides around the world, as well as two new high-end photography books.

The authors of each city guide are native to the respective area and are composed of various “journalists and guests” who share personal hot spot picks around each city, including boutique hotels, luxury restaurants, museums and galleries, shops, and more. The cities include Paris, Beijing, Lisbon, London, Moscow, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Seoul, Singapore, and Tokyo.

The Parisian guide, for example, was largely informed by architect and interior decorator, François-Joseph Graf, who shared his personal must-sees, whereas actress and singer Sophie Auster shared her take on the latest hot spots in New York City.

Aside from the updated volumes of the City Guides, Louis Vuitton will also be releasing “Fashion Eye” books that will take readers into a specific destination through the eyes of both local and visiting photographers. Japan by French and German Adolphe de Meyer, for example, will highlight photography taken in the early 1900s, while Sarah Moon’s Orient Express references the famous train.

The Louis Vuitton City Guides will be available in store and online for HK$310 for hard copies. Japan and Orient Express “Fashion Eye” books will be released in November for HK$520.
