Organising expert Marie Kondo will be returning to Netflix with a new series, “Sparking Joy”

If this new doesn’t spark joy, we don’t know what will! Netflix has recently announced that they will be producing a new series starring Marie Kondo—the Japanese organising expert who became a household name overseas thanks to the success of her worldwide bestselling book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing, first hit series, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo (2019).

Titled “Sparking Joy”, the new series is expected to debut on Netflix this summer. In the show, Kondo will be taking her signature approach to tidying up a step further outside of the home, showing us "how the fundamentals of her method can affect our businesses, relationships and communities," according to a press release.

As well as offering professional tips on how to declutter our spaces and mind, the show will demonstrate “how the impacts of tidying are surprising, emotional and transformational in the lives of the people she meets”, capturing audiences’ heart with tons of life-changing journeys. What’s more, "Sparking Joy" will let us step into Kondo’s home, meet her family and see how she find joys in her daily life.
