If sold, the Middle Gap Road mansion could be the most expensive home ever sold in Asia

Christie’s International Real Estate has listed a rare and stunning stand-alone home on Middle Gap Road —one of the most prestigious gated communities in the city—on The Peak.

The asking price is HK$3.8 billion (approximately US$447.8 million), making it the most expensive home currently for sale in Hong Kong, surpassing the 28 Gough Hill Road property Pansy Ho bought last year for HK$900 million (approximately US$114.6 million).

Built in 1991, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home is shrouded by lush country park greenery for utmost privacy. It boasts a site area of 16,330 square feet and a sizable pool that overlooks sweeping views of Hong Kong’s south side.

If sold, the home could break the record for the most expensive home sold in Hong Kong—already the world's most expensive real estate market—and potentially in all of Asia.
