1/5 It will be released in two volumes
Money Heist Part Five will be released in two instalments of five episodes each. The first volume will be released on September 3 while volume two will be dropping on December 3.
On the decision to split Part Five into two volumes, show creator Álex Pina said, "When we began to write Part 5 in the midst of the pandemic, we felt that we had to change what was expected from the ten-episode season and used every tool we could to create the sensation of a season finale or series finale in the first volume itself".
"We decided to work in an extremely aggressive genre, putting the gang on the ropes. In volume two, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure", he adds.
2/5 It will be the final season
This was announced a while back but in case you missed it, Part Five of the Spanish original series will be its last season, putting the iconic heist story to an end.

4/5 The plot
As with previous parts, we can expect Part Five to start right where Part Four ended: the gang trapped in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. While they've managed to rescue Lisbon, they're still dealing with the loss of their own (spoiler: Nairobi). The Professor has been captured by Sierra and for the first time, doesn't have an escape plan.
Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that's much more powerful than any they've faced: the army. The end of the heist is approaching and what started as a robbery is now turning into an all-out war.
