With three locations in Hong Kong, NAIS is part of the global Nord Anglia Education (NAE) network with 66 schools in 29 countries. This prestigious network educates more than 61,000 students worldwide between the ages of two and 18 across the Americas, Europe, China, Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East.
In Hong Kong, this global network is reflected in NAIS’s warm and friendly community made up of more than 40 different nationalities. Founded in 2014, NAIS prides itself on its creative and challenging curriculum under the English National Curriculum leading to the Cambridge ICGSE and IB diploma programme (IBDP) frameworks.
“Be Ambitious” philosophy
At the core of NAIS’s philosophy is the idea that all children are individuals and can each achieve highly with the right ambitious approach. With the goal of helping every one of their students succeed academically, socially and personally, the innovative curriculum, small class sizes and international learning opportunities at world-leading organisations such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and The Juilliard School ensure that NAIS students are well-equipped to succeed on the global stage.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
NAIS has collaborated with none other than the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for their STEAM curriculum, an interdisciplinary approach for learning science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
Not only do NAIS students get to visit the MIT campus each spring to meet MIT scientists and participate in workshops—activities include building robots, bioengineering and coding—they also take part in Hong Kong-based challenges that will put their critical thinking skills to the test. Crucially MIT experts provide training and support for staff at NAISHK enabling them to provide this world class curriculum to students at NAISHK.

The Juilliard School
Another unique world class collaboration is with the famous Juilliard School of Performing Arts in New York. Working with staff from NAISHK, the Juilliard experts in drama, music and dance help to enable high level performing arts education throughout the school. Visiting artist, such as world renowned flutist, Jasmine Choi working with students in small groups is another advantage open to NAISHK students, as their firm believe in the value of arts education will increase confidence in children.
A truly global campus
At NAIS, learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom—students are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zones to continuously expand their horizons. Thanks to this well-rounded approach to education, one in three Nord Anglia Education students are accepted into the world’s top 100 universities.
So, whether your child is leaning towards science and technology or the arts, Nord Anglia International School will give them all the tools they need to achieve their dreams.
