The 88-foot Italian A88 Gransport was inspired by Huracan Evo Spydr

Milan-based Officina Armare Design has unveiled its latest luxury yacht – a hard-top speedboat concept that appears to be inspired by Lamborghini’s Huracan Evo Spyder.

After the Italian company unveiled an similarly striking open-air speedboat inspired by Lamborghini’s Centenario Roadster, it only made sense to follow up with an equally elegant silhouette.

According to Robb Report, the A88 is akin to the six-figure hypercar thanks to its “powerful bow and voluptuous aft curves” as well as a gray stern with teak complemented with understated carbon fibre accents.

The superyacht can sleep up to eight guests in four cabins, including two large master suites and two twin cabins, all of which sport a unique blend of modern and sportive, luxurious and comfortable that span onto the private lounge areas, full bar, and aft deck with sun pads.

“A88 GranSport combines a sleek, modern and sportive design with excess power,” the brand said in a statement. “The streamlined design and frozen grey coloring adds to the elegant but aggressive profile.”

The 88-foot yacht includes twin 2,600-hp MTU 16V 2000 M94 diesel engines, reaching more than 40 knots at open throttle and while cruising at 35 knots will hit a 350 nautical mile range. The A88 also boasts numerous air intakes for maximum flow, four carbon-fibre spoilers, and an aerodynamic hardtop.

“Automotive-inspired style has crept its way into the design as well: a coupe-like roofline, four overwater exhausts and accentuated aft hips emulate hypercars and give the A88 a distinctive look among the populated superyacht market.” the brand adds.

Those looking for a bespoke layout are in luck: Officina Armare Design will be offering custom layouts to suit each owner’s needs. Pricing and inquiries can be made through the brand’s website.
