To mark the opening of the autumn edition of the Asia Contemporary Art Show on October 8, Italian artist Saverio Lucci captured the beauty of renowned Hong Kong model Jocelyn Luko-Sandstrom through his enchanting brushstrokes.

The art piece was unveiled at an art-inspired wine dinner at Nicholini’s in the Conrad Hong Kong recently on September 25. Art aficionados can view this elegant portrait painting along with six of Lucci’s other creations until the end of October.

Known for his use of Renaissance technique “Encausto” in many of his portraits, the Thailand-based Italian artist injects a fresh and modern twist to traditional European portrait paintings.

Romantic, calm and beautiful, he captures elegant and modern women through historical settings or garments.

Lucci will be present at the Asia Contemporary Art Show from October 8 to 11.
