Hosted by former British Vogue editor Bronwyn Cosgrave, the Rodeo Drive podcast launches today—in time with the phased re-opening of shops in Los Angeles

When you think of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills what comes to mind? Maybe it's the palm treelined streets and blue California skies framing long blocks of luxury retail experiences; or maybe it's that infamous shopping scene from Pretty Woman—who could forget: "Big mistake, huge!" As one of the most iconic shopping destinations in the world—canonised in the mind's eye through decades of Hollywood b-roll and as backdrop to some of the city's most iconic vignettes—Rodeo Drive has long been part and parcel of both American and global pop culture. Now, there's an official podcast that aims to tell its stories.

Hosted by former British Vogue features editor Bronwyn Cosgrave, the Rodeo Drive podcast launches today—in line with phased re-opening of shops in Los Angeles—and features conversations with guests such as luxury menswear magnate Nicolas Bijan, restaurateur Michael Chow, master milliner Stephen Jones OBE, fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, fashion director of Halston Cameron Silver, and many more luminaries from the worlds of design, hospitality, and entertainment.

In its very first episode, the Rodeo Drive podcast will dive into the history of the legendary Giorgio Beverly Hills. According to the show notes: "An all-star cast—Robert Hayman, the son of Giorgio founder Fred Hayman, known as “The Godfather of Rodeo Drive”; Dame Zandra Rhodes; author Rose Apodaca; and Decades owner Cameron Silver – tells the story of the “quirky” boutique’s creation, its star-studded heyday and how Giorgio innovated much that is central to high fashion and retailing today. Stephen Jones OBE and perfumers Roja Dove and David Horner explain how the Giorgio Beverly Hills perfume became a blockbuster.
