Rosewood’s new wellness retreat concept “Journey to Resilience” will empower its guests through fitness offerings, nutrition guidance, spa treatments and other wellbeing therapies

Leading luxury hospitality group Rosewood Hotels & Resorts recently launched a new wellness programme “Journey to Resilience”, which is designed to enhance one’s ability to recover from and adapt easily to change. After a turbulent year following the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s no surprise that everyone has been feeling more stressed or anxious more than ever before, and that’s why, the group is looking to launch a wellness concept to address all aspects of human wellbeing: the physical, the emotional and the mindful.

With a strong focus on four main behavioural elements that are essential to fostering resilience—positivism, purpose, resourcefulness and compassion—each retreat at the 14 participating Rosewood properties from around the world, including Hong Kong, Bangkok and Beijing, will incorporate practices reflective of local wellness traditions and natural surroundings, creating an ideal pampering environment for guests to heal and rebalance overall wellbeing.

“Consciously and unconsciously, resilience is becoming more important in our daily lives—especially due to the global pandemic,” says Niamh O’Connell, Group Vice President of Wellness and Brand Experience of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “Each Journey to Resilience retreat is designed to assist guests in recognising areas of their lives they’d like to restructure or enhance, providing the tools and support they need to make these changes.”

Every retreat from the lineup will offer a wide range of healing programmes, such as fitness, nutrition, spa treatments and alternative wellness therapies to help its guests to live a more holistic lifestyle and let go of habits, thoughts and behaviours which no longer have a positive impact.
