As we gear up for the Singapore Grand Prix this weekend, we speak to Formula One drivers from the McLaren team, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, on racing at the night race, superlative talents, and their competitive streak. In addition to taking on the Grand Prix circuit and chasing gold, Button and Hamilton have unleashed their inner fashion selves and will pose as the faces of Boss Black this autumn 2010 season. To check out the F1 drivers clean up and styled in this season's best, check out our exclusive behind-the-scenes photos.

Asiatatler.com: Driving around the circuit 40 times can't be easy: what thoughts run through your head when racing?

Lewis Hamilton: It depends, it really does depend because sometimes you are practicing and it gets so tedious. You are doing a long run and it gets boring after a while. I think about whether I am going to make a particular trip or when I am going to see the lady again, or which cars I like. But when you are leading the Monaco Grand Prix, you tell yourself, ‘Don't think about it! Don't crash!' Then you start thinking about the party afterwards!

AT: Which famous person makes you nervous?

Jenson Button: I'm going to be meeting the Queen in a few weeks, my parents will be coming as well so I have to make sure that they don't embarrass me too much! I am looking forward to my mum wearing a big hat. That's going to be cool. I think I might cry actually.

AT: You excel in driving. Are there other things you excel in?

LH: I am very musical. I do a lot of music. I've got nine guitars at home. In my apartment, the upstairs is basically a studio. I have got all the sound recording stuff, a Roland keyboard, an electric drum set and all my guitars. I'm literally jamming all the time.

AT: If you had the opportunity to race in a legendary car against a former F1 champion, who would it be?

LH: For me, it would be MP 44, i believem and that would be with Ayrton [Senna] driving. He won 15 our of 16 races. That's ridiculous.

JB: That's the same for me!

AT: How many titles would you like before you retire?

JB: I really don't know! When you are young you dream about rainging in Formula 1 against the best drivers in the world clinching a title. You don't think I want to win it twice, thrice etc. I've come into this season looking to retain the world championship, and I'm going to enter every season that I am racing with that same attitude.

LH: For me, I always dreamed of being world champion, then when you reach that point, you just want to do it again. I'm 25, Schumacher is 41, so I could keep going for 16 years if I wanted to. My target has been three [world championships], because there is a car I want, when I get that car, I am just going to drive away...

JB: Lewis isn't interested in being world champion, he just wants a free car!

AT: Even though you're a team, there's still a sense of competition between the two of you. How do you manage this?

JB: It's about being grown up and actually talking about the issue.

LH: I think we're competitive when we're in the car, but when we get out, all that disappears. Unless we play sport or something; then we might be competitive. Like the other day: he beat me at chess.

JB: We're pretty crappy at chess.

AT: If you got to race in a series other than the Formula One, what would it be?

LH: Lawn mover racing!

JB: I'd love to do NASCAR, or to race in the Super GT series in Japan!
