After a five-month renovation, The Grand Hyatt has unveiled the new look for its iconic art deco ballroom, the venue for this year's Tatler Ball

Tatler Ball 2013 Special

The Grand Hyatt has unveiled, just in time for the 2013 Tatler Ball, the new look of its iconic ballroom. The Grand Ballroom underwent a lengthy five-month renovation that saw the city’s first-ever built-in LED TV wall to be presented in a Hong Kong hotel. The Shanghai-style 1930s art deco furnishings in the pillar-less ballroom have been enhanced, with a grand crystal chandelier taking centre stage in the 730 square meter space. The dressing rooms are now directly accessible to the stage and equipped with its own washroom and safe, while hidden partitions can now close off the pre-function foyer to offer even more privacy. The Hong Kong Tatler team will be posting photos and videos from inside the ballroom on September 28, so follow us on #HKTatlerBall2013 (on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) to get a glimpse of the glamorous new space in action.
