This year’s Sovereign Asian Art Prize sees the strongest selection of works ever

The Sovereign Asian Art Prize has returned for its eighth incarnation, giving some of the region’s brightest talents a chance to be seen by a wider audience. “Every year we think the quality of art gets better as we become better known and this year is no exception. We think, and our judges agree, this is the strongest selection yet,” says Sovereign founder Howard Bilton. Sponsored by Julius Baer, the competition will see the 30 finalists’ work displayed at The Rotunda in Exchange Square, Central, from February 2-12. The winner will be announced and works auctioned to benefit the artists and Sovereign-selected charities at a gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong, on February 17.
