Marking the one-year anniversary of Liang Yi Talks, the April edition introduces us to the “necessaires de voyage” with Jaap Kemp, Chairman of the Museum of Bags and Purses in Amsterdam, who takes us through cases that aristocrats used in the 18th to 20th century on their voyages.
Kemp will go into detail of the influences beauty cases of the past have on the design of modern beauty cases and picnic baskets, as well as showing selected historical pieces.
