With Halloween falling on a Thursday this year, party-goers can expect to kick off the season the weekend before with our picks of Hong Kong's hottest Halloween parties and events, from ghoulish drinks behind the prison cells to a haunted drag show.

Halloween Reloaded at Zuma

When: October 26, from 9:30pm to 12:30am
Where: Zuma, Level 6, Landmark Atrium, 15 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong

Zuma’s annual Halloween party is back with a theme inspired by The Matrix, promising an evening of an outstanding line-up of performances. Watch Zuma Dubai’s resident DJ Adrien Callier on the decks, alongside violinist Olivia Dawn, Benjy on percussion and Gabriel on trumpet as you soak it all up with free-flow Veuve Clicquot champagne and cocktails. 

Those looking to get a head start can book Zuma’s Halloween edition of its signature Yashoku Night Brunch from 8pm to10pm to kick off the celebration.

Drag Me To Yelloween at W Hong Kong 

When: October 25, from 10pm to 1am
Where: W Hong Kong, 1 Austin Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong

The third edition of W Hotel’s notorious “Drag Me To” Sunday Brunch is brought to you by W Hotel and Veuve Clicquot, transforming WOOBAR into the movie set of classic horror movie The Shining with drag queen performances and live DJ music. 

Just sit back, sip on the bubbles and relive the thrill as the drag queens reenact chilling scenes from the movie with a fun twist.

The Goldmember Halloween Halloween Party at Silencio

When: October 26, from 10pm to 1am
Where: Silencio, 6/F, LKF Tower, 33 Wyndham Street, Central, Hong Kong

Halloween at contemporary izakaya Silencio is a black and gold affair with a groovy throwback to the 2002 movie Austin Powers in Goldmember. The dining room will be decked out in glittering gold and host a Halloween party-exclusive line-up of live jazz performances by Bob Mocarsky and Pete Kelly from 7pm to 10pm, and eclectic tunes by DJ Kai Djuric from 10pm to 1am.

If you come earlier for dinner, be sure to dress the part to receive a glass of sake on the house before moving on to free-flow cocktails, spirits, sake with complimentary black and gold canapés at the party.

The Addams Family Halloween party at Aqua

Join The Addams Family as they roll into the dead of night at Aqua, where the late-night celebration sets against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour.

Doomsday: A Night Not to be Remembered at CÉ LA VI

This Halloween, the Sky Deck at CÉ LA VI will host Hong Kong Island’s highest Halloween party, while the Club Lounge downstairs will turn into a haunted stage for DJ Fudge and Funky spinning chillingly good tunes as costumed guests take it to the dance floor.

The Jungle Wild Halloween Party at The Mira Hong Kong

The Mira’s Halloween party is back for its sixth edition, this time transforming the lobby bar into a ghastly party den for its “Jungle Wild” themed haunted room series. Show up on time to make the most of the 5-hour open bar and join the dance floor in your wildest costume. 

With DJ Nippers on the decks, haunting performance dancers taking over the bar and fun face painting to keep your Halloween makeup on fleek, the party will also offer two F&B vouchers worth HK$1,888 for best dressed and best dancer of the night.
