“I’m looking forward to the launch of Karl Lagerfeld’s Olympic collection for his Karl line this summer! My fiancé and I will be going to London to watch the Olympics opening, and he wants to watch judo, taekwondo and wrestling.”

“It was such a proud moment for us to have the honour of the Chinese capital hosting such a historic event. I thought it was wonderful how they portrayed to the rest of the world their creativity and dedication to such a monumental event.”

Lumen Kinoshita
- Muhammad Ali Lighting The Olympic Torch, Atlanta 1996

“It was very touching to see how the human spirit prevailed over disease and physical constraints, and that a person’s dignity will always shine through. Competitive athletic games are a reflection of that spirit, EQ and conviction.”

Manoj Chellaram
- US Basketball Dream Team, Barcelona 1992

“They were a phenomenon on and off the court. It mattered not that the team dominated the Olympic competition, beating its eight opponents by an average of 44 points. What was important was that the Dream Team, the first US Olympic team to include NBA stars, gave fans a glimpse of basketball at its finest. I’m going to London this year to watch the current US basketball team in action, although I’m also interested to see whether Usain Bolt can break his current 100m record.”

Stephen Hung
- Mark Spitz’s Performance, Munich 1972

“For me, the best Olympic moment was Mark Spitz winning seven golds in 1972! No one even came close before him.”
