Does your little one have an inner yogi? These kid-friendly yoga studios in Hong Kong have fun-focused classes so your bubs can breathe, stretch and meet new friends
As part of Tatler Wellness Week, we invited the youngest members of the Tatler community to join us for an afternoon dedicated to kids’ wellness.
In a fun and lively yoga class led by Hema Mirpuri, founder of The Yoga Room, mums and bubs breathed and stretched in the sunshine at The Upper House Lawn including Rosemary Vandenbroucke with her son Hendrix, Denise Ho with her son Donovan, and Ankie Beilke with her son Sebastian to name a few.
Mirpuri used toys, like a rainbow-coloured breathing ball, and visuals to create an interactive experience, which had everyone smiling all throughout the class.
Just as it is for adults, the benefits of yoga for children are plenty; aside from keeping them healthy and active, yoga can help increase focus, promote mindfulness, build self-esteem and develop their creative expression.
Here are some Hong Kong studios that offer kids’ yoga classes.
