Hong Kong Art Week 2017 is almost upon us. If you still haven't finalised your travel plans yet, don't panic—there might still be rooms available. Warhol fans can enjoy access to the “Warhol in China” photography exhibition from March 20 to April 2, which will feature over 200 rare photographs taken by the inimitable Andy Warhol during his visit to China and Hong Kong in 1982. They also have a Hong Kong Art Week package (available March 19  to April 2) that includes VIP access to Art Central and three-day passes for Art Basel.

The Upper House

Designed by T-lister and Maison & Objet Asia’s 2016 Designer of the Year André Fu, The Upper House is one of Hong Kong’s best boutique hotels. The Peninsula Hong Kong

For its fourth annual “Love Art” initiative, The Peninsula is partnering again with Britain’s Royal Academy of Arts to install a four-metre-high steel light bulb created by Irish contemporary conceptual artist Sir Michael Craig-Martin. Entitled “Bright Idea”, the large-scale art piece challenges how we view everyday objects—and you can have it right on your doorstep.

 Conrad Hong Kong

Get a front row seat to the bi-annual Asia Contemporary Art Show, which will be held from March 17 to 20 at Conrad hotel. Artworks from more than 80 galleries will be displayed—rather unconventionally—on beds, dressers and bathroom sinks, in bedrooms across the 40th to 43rd floors. You might even bump into some of the artists.

Lanson Place Hotel

Boutique hotel Lanson Place is hosting its own satellite exhibition in collaboration with Design Pier and Design Anthology. “Design with Character” will present a collection of objects by a host of designers, including Zaha Hadid and Verner Panton. They also have a gorgeous façade, stylish Parisian-inspired rooms, and a promotional “CLUB 133” package, if you need more reasons to stay.

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong

If location is your number one priority, it doesn’t get any more convenient than Grand Hyatt. It’s directly connected to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where Art Basel is held. You could literally just roll out of bed and walk down the hallway to get to the show.

The Langham Hong Kong

The Langham is conveniently located just a short ferry ride away from Art Central, across the Victoria Harbour. Their art retreat package (offered from March 13 through 26) comes with tickets to Art Central, as well as afternoon tea for two. If you fancy having your portrait drawn, British illustrator Tanya Bennett will be doing watercolour sketches at the hotel throughout March 25 and 26.
