Father-son duo William and Justin Ma are readying to open a new luxury hotel in Wong Chuk Hang this month
Justin Ma, founder and CEO of Yulan Group Limited, and his father, William Ma, chairman of Tai Sang Land Development are launching a new hotel, the Arca, in Wong Chuk Hang this month. Traditionally an industrial district, Wong Chuk Hang today has evolved into one of Hong Kong’s coolest up-and-coming neighbourhoods brimming with a mix of great restaurants, unique art galleries and event spaces, which marks it out as a prime location for the duo’s ambitious project.
Scheduled to open in mid-May, the property is envisioned by reputed local design studio, Design Eight Five Two (DEFT), and driven by the ethos of putting meticulous attention to detail with a sleek take on contemporary luxury, which is also expected to be Yulan Group’s second hotel project after the launch of boutique hotel Figo in Sheung Wan in 2020.
