Tech company Xiaomi's highly anticipated new phone line-up is finally here––and we're breaking down all their latest offerings for you

This week, Xiaomi expanded their popular Mi 11 series to introduce three new smartphones. These are the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, and Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11 Lite (4G).

During the launch, the tech giant also released their new fitness wearable, the Mi Smart Band 6, as well as a new smart home cinema, the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro.

Mi 11 Ultra

The Mi 11 Ultra is Xiaomi's flagship product and a completely revolutionary smartphone. The phone marks a major milestone when it comes to smartphone photography and videography. Coming off the heels of the Mi 10 Ultra, the phone boasts one of its most powerful pro-grade triple camera set up to date. With its powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, sleek quad-curved 120Hz AMOLED display and super-fast 67W wired and wireless turbocharging (100 per cent charge in 36 mins), the  Mi 11 Ultra is basically a pocket-sized film studio. 

Photography enthusiasts will be please to know that all three of the phone's lenses support 8K 24fps video. This ensures excellent picture quality and accurate, dynamic light and shadow representation

The phone also features a true-to-life viewing experience with its use of Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and 1.07 billion colour representation support.

The Mi 11 Ultra also features a  1.1” AMOLED rear display which doubles as an always-on display, notification window, a preview screen for selfies and more.

Designed with young people in mind, the Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11 Lite comes with an ultra-slim light design. In fact, the phone weighs no more than 159g and is just 6.81mm thin.

Both phones feature a triple rear camera with a 64MP main camera and  AI cinema modes.

The device also provides a user-friendly experience that will allow anyone to take professional grade pictures and videos with minimal effort.

Mi 11 Lite 5G also features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G3, which ensures powerful performance and utmost productivity.

Xiaomi's fitness wearables are very popular and the tech giant has certainly capitalised on it with its latest addition, the all-new Mi Smart Band 6.

This band boasts a stunning 1.56’’ large full-screen AMOLED display. It offers a 326PPI crystal-clear resolution and approximately 50 per cent more screen space than its previous model.

The band, which is the perfect workout companion, has also doubled its fitness mode options to include 30 challenging workouts that you can enjoy at your own time and pace. The band features auto-detection for six common fitness activities.

It also incorporates health functions such as SpO2 measurement, heart rate monitoring, enhanced sleep tracking functions and more.

Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro

With more movies being released on streaming services, Xiaomi's new Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro is a perfect addition to any movie lover's home.

It offers a crystal clear 1920 x 1080 FHD picture quality, up to 1300 ANSI lumens high brightness, and HDR10 support for enhanced colour contrast.

It also sports in-built 10W speakers with DTS-HD and Dolby Audio support for stunning audio performance so you can really feel like you are at the cinema.

The device also supports omni-directional keystone correction which takes the job of positioning the screen out of the user's hands.

Running on the Android TV system, Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro will also offer up a large database of entertainment. It is also enabled with Chromecast and Google Assistant support which allows the device to function as a smart hub.
