Caviar and duck confit meet tacos and tostadas at chef Miko Calo’s soon-to-open taqueria

As the chef and co-owner of modern French restaurant Metronome, chef Miko Calo is highly regarded for her fine Franch fare—think heavenly foie gras tarts and delicious lobster spaghettini. Now, Calo has teamed up with RJ Galang and husband-and-wife duo Paolo and Laveena Clavecilla to open a strikingly different concept: Taqueria Franco. Located in Salcedo Village, the casual taco spot highlights chef Calo’s playful side as she translates her French sensibilities to tacos, tostadas and more, complete with an exciting cocktail menu to boot.

Tatler Dining was granted an exclusive sneak preview of the soon-to-open restaurant—read more about it, below.
