Best known as the co-founder of art gallery Villepin, Arthur de Villepin runs a variety of businesses promoting fine culture, under the umbrella of the Art de Vivre Group.

An avid art collector himself, he opened the gallery in 2018 with his father, former French prime minister Dominique de Villepin, who has been friends with numerous prominent artists. Arthur’s mother is sculptor Marie-Laure Viebel de Villepin, while his sister, Marie, is an actor, musician and model.

Living in Hong Kong since 2010, Arthur de Villepin has dedicated himself to introducing a variety of French cultural treasures to Asia. His company Pont des Arts produces limited-edition wines selected for their affinity with the work of the famous artists whose works appear on the labels. In 2018 he opened the Hong Kong outpost of French contemporary art gallery Carré d’Artistes that offers a wide range of work at accessible prices; in 2013 he launched a branch of similarly approachable French photography gallery YellowKorner.
